Please see this space for our new logo for this website and our seed packets soon...
The Seed Lending Library loans open pollinated seeds to the community to plant and enjoy. At the end of the growing season, "the borrower" saves seed from the plants grown with the library seeds and then returns some of those seeds to the library for others to borrow. Over time, these seeds become adapted to our region’s particular climate and soil conditions. We need to keep our heirloom seeds viable because we have been losing hundreds of varieties of fruits and vegetables for a long time. The seed lending library will help us to maintain our biodiversity. Concord is growing a seed lending library that will be ready for 2013’s gardening season.

We look forward to seeing all your creative submissions!
